The Great Dream and the Crap Day
So I went to bed earlier than I usually do at around 10:40pm last night and had an AMAZING dream. It involved me getting a new pair of shoes (the lace up boots that I really want at the moment) and a cute guy. I can't really remember what went on, but I remember holding hands with said cute guy :)
Anyway, today was quite busy. I don't mind busy, but I hate it when customers are overly fussy and make it difficult for you, especially during rush hour when everyone is hungry.
I kinda wish I had made an effort to find things during the Boxing Day sales. I wanted some more shoes, some comfy ones to wear around. I wanted to buy a pair of those awesome hiphop style shoes (I don't really know what they're called :\) but I was too scared to go and ask. Hah!

- These two ladies wanted something like 6 different things in a tub. I have to weigh, put in codes, minus weights, remember numbers and crap so that they can get what they want and not get ripped off. I hold up the tub to ask if what I put in was a good amount for them, and they say "Oh, I don't care right now if it's okay or not etc".
WTF. I'm trying to make you happy. This is called Customer Service. - When customers are unresponsive. They just nod and look down/away when you ask them things. Just say something! Even if it's in a snobby voice, I'd rather that than not receive a verbal response.
- When customers say "I want half of this and half of that". Half of what and what? I can't see behind the counter what you're pointing at. I am short and the window is blocked by the counter.
- When I say "ticket number 60" don't go and say "oh I've got 67". No one cares. As far as I'm concerned there are 7 more people to serve before I get to you.
- Don't bring a single drink and ask to pay here during peak hour. This lady asked me if I could put something though "really quickly" while I was scooping up salads for someone else. That, is extremely rude. She told me she had waited for 10 minutes at the Cashier. Well, get a ticket and wait. Seriously, we're busy over here too. We have our own customers to serve, and I'm not letting you cut this queue. Roll your eyes at me all you want, but it's not going to make me put your stupid drink through faster.
