Happy Chinese New Year!
I hope that for all of you who celebrate this holiday, that you've spent it happily whether it be with family or friends.
I'm still in China with family and for the last 2 or 3 days, fireworks have been going on non-stop at night.
I come back to Australia in a week, so a big post full of pictures and vlogs will be up in a week and a half, I hope! My laptop broke the day before I left so all my files (pictures, videos) are gone... T__T
I'm using a proxy site to access Blogger since China doesn't like foreign communication sites and whatnot. Livejournal isn't blocked funnily enough.
I had some really lovely family dinners over the last two weeks. Tonight my grandfather came out to eat with us at the restaurants for lunch and dinner. It's actually really rare for my grandfather to go out to eat since he walks quite slowly... he's suffered from a stroke before so his health isn't that good. His appetite was really great. He ate a lot, even the western style dinner we had tonight. I'm really happy that I can see my grandfather so happy. I really do hope that he'll be healthy and not suffer from anymore illness.
My little cousin was involved in a car accident. His leg was dislocated so he's been confined to his bed and will be for the next 2 or 3 weeks. He's only 9 and he's normally full of energy. We gave him the iPad so that he won't feel as bored and so far, he's beaten every single high score my sister and I managed to get on games like Cut The Rope and Angry Birds. I hope he will recover fast and that his leg will heal fully so that it doesn't affect him in the future.
My sister was also hit by a scooter. A (stupid, gotohell) rider turned the corner to the street where we were walking, and bumped into my sister, full speed. She knocked her glasses off, and still kept going. Since my little sister was walking behind us, we didn't notice anything until we heard her glasses hit the pavement. A few people saw what happened, and cursed the woman who kept going and didn't turn back. My sister's leg and arm are bruised and she was in shock for a couple of minutes. The whole thing didn't process in my head quickly enough. If it had, I would have chased down the woman, grabbed her hair and dragged her off her bike and thrown her to the ground and made her bow to my sister. Such a heartless person will get what's coming for her. I secretly hope that she herself will get run over by a car and then she'll know what happens when she lives life not having a conscience and a loving heart.
When I get home I have a lot of blogs to read and catch up on T__T
