Harry Potter 7 (part I)
I got the job!A lady from DJs called me the day after the interview, and told me I was successful! I was half asleep when I got the phone call.
Me: (=_=") Hello?Yesterday, some girls in the Class of `10 organised a mass viewing of the newest Harry Potter release. It was definitely a lot more fun watching it with people you know. We probably laughed more than most people at the silliest jokes. I thought the 7 Potters was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. Of all the movies, this one has the funniest scenes.
Lady on the phone: Congratulations
Me: (=_0) Really?
We cheered and clapped for Ron and George. I think all of the girls cried when Dobby died.
"Such a beautiful place to be with friends. Dobby is happy to be with his friend, Harry Potter"
There are plenty more brilliant scenes. However, if you have not read the series, you WILL NOT understand what is going on, like for the other movies (bar the first). So read the books!
After the fantastic movie that was Harry Potter, I had to bum around for a while in the city before meeting up with my parents.
So I stayed at Starbucks. I think my new favourite hot drink is Caramel Macchiato (?). That and Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice basically were my hang out buddies at Starbucks for 2.5 hours.
The Tram Restaurant. Definitely very touristy, but it's a nice experience.
The waiters were very lovely and one guy, John was definitely the funniest waiter I've met. It was a 5 course meal and the food was really yummy :)
The best course was definitely the dessert. I chose the sticky date pudding with the butterscotch sauce. That dessert is to die for. I want to learn how to make that sauce!
My sister and I bought my mum a Chanel Lipstick and a necklace :)
Speaking of food, this is basically what I've been having for lunch for the days I haven't been going out.
Shin ramyun with cuttlefish balls and fish sausage.
I think I'll have a few more interesting posts lined up in the next few days!
