I had such a good day today. Granted I didn't do as much study as I had planned (simply because walking to the library is further from the bus stop than campus centre and my calves REALLY HURT) but nonetheless, it was a great day.
I did some exercise before breakfast because I read somewhere that it boosts your metabolism. Endorphins are so good <3
Now that I think of it, I didn't eat a lot today, which is quite concerning because normally I eat a lot. I had: 2 bowls of pumpkin soup, a croissant, an orange and three Tim Tams from 6AM-7PM. I feel fine though, like no dizziness or anything.
Ohohoho :)
I met a new person today. I've seen him around once or twice (and I remember thinking he was pretty cute) and today, we were officially introduced. Hehe :3 I felt kinda awkward because I was kinda sleepy and I didn't really know what to say.
Do you guys find it awkward when you know someone because they have mutual friends with you, you know their name and occasionally have a mini "stare-off" but have never actually talked to them? It's happened to me a few times -awks-

I got the job!A lady from DJs called me the day after the interview, and told me I was successful! I was half asleep when I got the phone call.
Me: (=_=") Hello?Yesterday, some girls in the Class of `10 organised a mass viewing of the newest Harry Potter release. It was definitely a lot more fun watching it with people you know. We probably laughed more than most people at the silliest jokes. I thought the 7 Potters was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen. Of all the movies, this one has the funniest scenes.
Lady on the phone: Congratulations
Me: (=_0) Really?
We cheered and clapped for Ron and George. I think all of the girls cried when Dobby died.
"Such a beautiful place to be with friends. Dobby is happy to be with his friend, Harry Potter"
There are plenty more brilliant scenes. However, if you have not read the series, you WILL NOT understand what is going on, like for the other movies (bar the first). So read the books!
After the fantastic movie that was Harry Potter, I had to bum around for a while in the city before meeting up with my parents.
So I stayed at Starbucks. I think my new favourite hot drink is Caramel Macchiato (?). That and Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice basically were my hang out buddies at Starbucks for 2.5 hours.
The Tram Restaurant. Definitely very touristy, but it's a nice experience.
The waiters were very lovely and one guy, John was definitely the funniest waiter I've met. It was a 5 course meal and the food was really yummy :)
The best course was definitely the dessert. I chose the sticky date pudding with the butterscotch sauce. That dessert is to die for. I want to learn how to make that sauce!
My sister and I bought my mum a Chanel Lipstick and a necklace :)
Speaking of food, this is basically what I've been having for lunch for the days I haven't been going out.
Shin ramyun with cuttlefish balls and fish sausage.
I think I'll have a few more interesting posts lined up in the next few days!

Job interview today.
I tried to go to sleep early last night, but I ended up getting only 5 hours of sleep. =.="
Needless to say, I looked half dead when I woke up. It actually felt like a school day.
To try and energise myself, I made coffee (which tasted kind of funny...) and put on a facemask before I did my makeup.
It was a group interview, and there were something like 12ish people. I was the youngest there. The girl who sat next to me looked quite young, so I asked her if she had just finished high school. She said she was doing her Masters. Holy shisus how embarrassing.
Everyone there was studying at uni so it made me look really.. inexperienced?
Anyway, Jessica (the lady who was taking the group interview) showed us a slideshow about David Jones. I learned quite a bit about David Jones from that slideshow.
After that, there was a group activity. They gave us scenarios and we had to come up with a plan of action and how we'd deal with the customer. My imputs were largely ignored. ><"
I had to go buy part of my mum's birthday present afterward. My sister and I planned on getting my mum a Chanel lipstick. It had actually cost $50 instead of the $60+ I had thought. $50 isn't bad considering makeup from Priceline or something costs half of that. I'd rather pay double for the Chanel.
The lady at the Chanel counter wrapped up the lipstick with the Chanel wrapping paper and ribbon. It's so pretty!
My hair is healthier now.. the ends aren't as fried as they were. Maybe my hair will start to grow?! My friend once told me that to grow long hair quickly, you should think dirty thoughts. Haha!

I've been playing games on my DS and my laptop. My laptop is possibly the worst laptop to be playing games on. It heats up easily and when it does, it will shut down randomly :(
I haven't bought Sims 3 for myself yet. It's really cheap at JB Hi Fi right now, it's $49. I'm thinking of also buying the Ambitions expansion too. But I have a bunch of other things to buy for other people, I'm thinking of postponing this purchase :(

Just like I'm postponing my Age of Empires III and Heroes of Might and Magic purchases.

I've rekindled my love for Maplestory. There's a huge change happening in December. In Korea, they named it Big Bang. GMS wants to rename it and they had no creativity so they're asking players to help name it. Why can't it just stay Big Bang?

For those of you who play or have played, you might know of Genesis. It basically attacks the entire map and people like to use it to train really quickly and sell leech. After Big Bang, there's a cool down on Genesis, to prevent people from super spamming it. I guess people got pretty mad at this, and quit their Bishops/Priests.
They're also bringing out three new classes (as if they didn't have enough already) and from the videos I've seen, they're so overpowered it's not even funny anymore. Zakum solo in 3 minutes?!
For my DS, I've been playing Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes. Initially I was interested because I had played Heroes of Might and Magic on PC and I really liked it (despite being horrible at strategy...). It's very different to the usual PC format, but it's so addictive, I've stayed up until 6AM playing this game.

I'm also getting into Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar. The other Harvest Moon games were really confusing and it seemed like you had to do so many things in so little time. The gameplay is different, in that you don't ship items in your shipping container, but you sell them at your stall once a week at the Grand Bazaar.

I want to finish all the Professor Layton games, including the new one that was just released. But I'm not very good at puzzles =="
Alright, the nerd is signing out :)
