My first day of work was today!

Five hours of standing around, serving people 'Wild Rice Salad' and 'Salad Nicoise'.

Most customers were lovely in that they were patient with the noobie worker serving them. I have to memorise a whole bunch of numbers to put into the machine.

I also learnt a whole bunch of things regarding the register, some things I had forgotten and things I didn't know.

I felt really sorry for a Japanese lady with her mother (?), because I had difficulty with the EFTPOS thing and it took me a good five minutes with another worker to figure out how to fix it.

I did see a cute guy though, wearing one of those.. caps. LOL the one with the gold sticker. Like the one Taeyang wears :D

My manager is so lovely, she made me feel very welcome :)

Unfortunately, I was one of the two who stayed till closing, so I had to clean up all the salads, wipe down the windows, count the money in the till.

Five hours went by surprisingly fast. My thighs and heels were aching from standing around. And I hit my head on the door of the salad fridge as I was reaching in to cover up the salads.
